Is there anything I should check first?
Check the thermostat is set to cool and the batteries are fresh, and look at the air filter: a clogged one can stop cooling. If none of that helps, send the request.
Water is dripping from the ceiling. What now?
Turn the system off at the thermostat and put a bucket or towels under the drip, away from outlets. The request shows this guidance too.
Why a diagnostic visit?
The same symptom can have very different causes. The visit means the repair price is for what is actually wrong.
